Because our research focuses primarily on the effects of hearing loss in children, our most frequent visitors to the lab are children between the ages of 5 and 12 years.  Children with normal hearing and children who wear hearing aids are needed for nearly every study we do. During a visit to the lab, the children engage in a series of short tasks over a two our period (or less) that are challanging and age appropriate.
